SUNLESS TANNING BEFORE & AFTER CARE

Shower at least 8 hours before your appointment to allow your pH levels to neutralize. Be sure to rinse your body well to wash off any residual product residue from things like body wash, hair conditioner, and shaving cream.

The day of your spray tan do not use any body lotions, moisturizers, oils, deodorants, makeup, or perfumes. These products can create a barrier on the skin that will not allow the solution to absorb properly.

We understand that not everyone can go all day without using these products. This is why we recommend that you shower 4 hours prior to your appointment. If you cannot do this, we offer prep mitts for purchase.

Before your first rinse, avoid sitting on anything light in color as cosmetic bronzer in the solution could transfer to these surfaces. Cover fabrics to avoid possible transfer.

Applying products with adhesives to the skin after a spray tan can cause removal of the spray tan in those areas. Products like band-aides, pore strips, medical tape, fashion tape and even sticky boobs can remove your spray tan. If you use these items on a weekly or daily basis, we suggest stopping the use days before your tan and taking the time to make sure any adhesive or residue left from the products is removed as it can become a barrier and not allow spray tan to absorb properly in those areas.
